Mark Twain once
said that courage wasn't the absence of fear, it is mastery
over it. Author Ambrose Redmoon furthered those thoughts by saying that
courage was "the judgment that something else is more important than fear."
The
something that is more important than fear is: your life. The fact that
flying can open up a world of options (taking vacations, visiting friends
and relatives, and making business travel easier and more efficient) is
completely incidental. The real benefit is that now you command your own
destiny.
